You don’t get it. There is a reason why the government is encouraging Singaporeans to go overseas. That, you should go and find out yourself since you think you’re damn it smart.

  • so that means LKY is lying by saying that Singapore is a little swamp when achieve independence.
  • The video focuses on the city centre in the south .

He wasn’t. Pasir Ris was a swamp. It isn’t now. Maybe LKY was looking beyond the then commercialised areas. His team made the changes to the areas we now live in.

  • Blame the Japs for their being EVIL invaders.. they were just actually tied with Hitler just to dream that they would rule the World!!

They were just a part the rapacious AXIS “666″ Powers.. involved Nazi Deutschland, Italy and their nation!

Blame the Americans for being such STUPIDS for inventing such a NUKE mass destruction devices that in the near future, IT WOULD start the NUCLEAR War..

The director Eric Khoo confused with three fantastic relationship with this important study the human longing to love and be loved. Elderly merchant fondly his wife in hospital, then struggling with the profound solitude, where he died. Two teenagers communicate by e-mail and text messages, but gay relationship ends the tragedy. Middle-aged, lecherous security guard stalks a beautiful woman at a distance, and finally wrote a pathetic letter to her love. At the same time, all this is a real life story the deaf and blind Theresa Chan, 61-year-old teacher, and children with special needs. Throughout the film, will deep reflection on the life story love and longing. The fate these four stories together a strong conclusion. With me, won five film festivals. Mostly English, but some Chinese with English subtitles. Rating: 5 / 5

One must be very patient with this film. It moves at your own pace describes three parallel love stories. One is the love an old man and his wife, who died in a hospital bed, and diffculty in order to let go when the life living together. Another is the story a janitor is an office building, which cares only for the young professional woman who works there. It is very shy and insecure to go directly to the humble existence is outome child is physically abused by his father and brother. The latter is a love story the crash two high school girls and sexual confusion caused by the tragedy enormous proportions. What unites them all is a new social worker, who usually wounded souls in patience and calm strength. We learn through her story: Theresa Chang blind and deaf woman to live independently. Stories courage and perseverance to teach all players imporant lesson. Another part extrimely film is a powerful story life goes Theresa and celebrate his life quietly, as he gracefully acknowledges the difficulties his life to date, and determination. I would like to take this film, because the crossover between fiction and documentary – which is why I say be patient when watching this film. In the end, everything makes sense. . . And it’s great living teaching all us. Rating: 4 / 5

With me to guide ’s Eric Khoo, the best what cinema has to offer, the dialogue, which does not depend on the words that work is so magnificent is exceeded and the film works art that you make sure you see a movie. It was the official entrance to the Academy 78 foreign language category, but was rejected because the majority is less than five minutes, the dialogue was in England. No matter – the film could easily gain the power his message, the relevance Theresa Chan, the blind / deaf teacher, which the film juxtaposes four life stories perustuu.Elokuva: the ratio girls to another girl anguished love received through short messages, the depositary is obsessed with stalking women entrepreneurs who are desperately trying to write a love letter to the trader in the elderly in need a deceased spouse was reflected in cooking and daily life and observations about love, as written by Theresa Chan. Common thread connecting the stories communication and consistency. Despite the fact that all the characters are so much to see and hear, it is clear that this is not a heart – the eyes and ears can see and kuulee.Toimijat are friends and acquaintances director. Most are not professional actors. Theresa Chan is not alone. Perhaps because this film seems to aidolta.Arvosana: 5 / 5

  8. “Gibraltar of the East”? lol, Japan shattered that myth a few years later. The British surrender in 1942 was the worst defeat in their history.

  9. jedistar if u feel the need for other races to show respect to u by making them know their place then i dont think ur white race really think itself as superor. true secure races who know they are the best dont care about others lower forms. i.e. only if deep down u feel they are more superior than u u have that inner scheme to want to make them know their place . already superior race already feel sorry for them and dont care.

Of course, they had to use Russian and US to defeat Germany in the end. But the enemy in Singapore was not Germany!

If you have time, history channel is showing the blunders that they have made. A blunder is a blunder, admit it, no excuses especially when they made blunders. From lack of air coverage to lack of tanks to the lack of defences to the rear.

Finally, their dismal lack of courage, the Australians fought much better. Hats off to them.

lol they are busy fighting Germany, do you even know how strong germany is? you’re just mad that they surrender you guys to the japs

  12. *monthly, not annually. Typo there.

But regardless, you can’t say that Singapore education is not affordable.

  13. @xtinaseet: Primary School is free – you pay $11 a year for admin
In Secondary School school fees are $21 annually after subsidy, with $16 of that going to admin.
In JC, you pay $28 annually, with $22 going to admin.

Of course, you could always go to an expensive private school, but that’s your problem (and your parents’)
